A knowledge-based company designed and unveiled software for mine intelligence at the 13th Minex exhibition to improve mining and reach Industry 4.0 standards in the country.
The mining industry is a vital industry worldwide, playing a key role in producing minerals for various uses. With technological advancements, miners can now leverage advanced technologies for better monitoring and control of mining processes.
Rahkarpouya, a knowledge-based company, started its operations in 2016, aiming to provide consulting, design, and implementation services in the field of new technologies and offer services to domestic and international companies.
Amidreza Azhdari, CEO of Rahkarpouya, described the goal of the intelligent software as "management under a single system," stating: The mine intelligence software, with its predictive capabilities based on extracted models, is a suitable tool for planning and control in mines.
According to him, this software combines data insights, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving, offering solutions that were previously impossible.
He continued: To this end, real-time data should be used in mine management dashboards and mine intelligence for faster speed and higher-quality decisions.
Azhdari, noting that this software allows mine planners to analyze, interpret, and combine different datasets to improve the operations of different mine sections, stated: The main goal of this service is "to help empower industries and mines to get closer to Industry 4.0."
The CEO of the knowledge-based company listed information integration, the use of the Internet of Things, and mechanization as three main steps in intelligence, saying: Collecting and connecting information from different parts of the mines creates a more integrated and coherent view of the performance and current status, which in itself is a major step in mine intelligence, known as information integration.
He added: The Internet of Things or IOT is used to eliminate human errors, increase accuracy, and use in hazardous conditions for humans. Due to the presence of a technical team within the company, the design, implementation, and support of this hardware are carried out within the organization and are designed and implemented according to the client's project needs.
He added:
Azhdari referred to the company's experience in using precision instruments and designing IOT boards to the intelligence of water and gas transmission lines, which is one of the first activities carried out in this field.
He considered one of the important tools in increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing safety in mines to be the use of intelligence tools and mine monitoring systems in the drilling, extraction, and processing sections and stated: This system is a tool that, with various modules, facilitates mine planning management and provides various management reports for controlling and evaluating the performance of each section; in such a way that the possibility of defining daily, monthly, annual plans, entering performance information, and finally determining the deviation of plans and programs from performance exists. Connecting to machinery and receiving real-time information from them and displaying and tracking their performance on the map (dispatching) are other capabilities of intelligence services.
Azhdari called one of the most important features of this company's products the ability to customize and personalize according to the client's processes and needs and said: In designing the mine management dashboard system and Internet of Things hardware, we paid special attention to using Internet of Things (IOT) technology and collecting the necessary data for operating and managing mines and providing various reports.
The CEO of Rahkarpouya concluded: Coverage of all mine processes, calculation of machinery profit and loss, various and applicable reports, and easy usability are among the features of the mine system.
